About Diana:
If the relationship you are in is struggling, if you feel alone or as if you keep having the same fight, if you are struggling with some type of betrayal or anger I can help with that. In your first sessions with me, we will discover the things that are holding your relationship back from being what you thought it could be when you first met. As we work together I will help you identify where new skills are needed and get you headed toward the connected, intimate relationship you have been longing for.
Helping make relationships successful has become my passion. I’ve been working with couples, parents and teens since 1990. I have seen first hand the changes in families that occur as couples develop successful relationships. In my clinical work with childhood trauma, domestic violence, anger management, family disconnection I have came to see the deep caring people have for their partners and families even in the midst of much pain and struggle. In my practice I help couples take that desire for connection and caring and turn it into successful relationships that leave each partner better equipped and supported in their day to day lives.
I train and supervise therapists and have been adjunct faculty at Antioch University in Santa Barbara. I am deeply committed to fostering both professional and personal growth in my community.
In my clinical work I am focused on working with each couples in the most effective ways to support them developing a meaningful and connected relationships. Relationships have been a powerful force in my life. I have been married for 38 years, we have learned how to support and care for ourselves and our relationship. Our 3 grown children and a grandchild bring much joy into our lives. It is my goal to give you the tools you need to create the relationships that make your life joyful.
